Evie Blender: Makeup’s New Marvel

The beauty blender has become a household name and a necessary staple to every makeup enthusiast’s daily routine. With the increasing popularity of this much coveted product comes different variations. One popular variation is the Silisponge, a beauty blender made entirely of silicone. Another similar prototype has come to surface, and it’s unmistakably the most highly anticipated of them all: the Evie Blender.

The Evie Blender, unlike the Silisponge, is made solely of medical grade, hypoallergenic silicone materials. The Evie Blender mirrors the malleable teardrop shape of the classic beauty blender in addition to maintaining a textured surface that not only allows for effortless blending of foundation, but also makes it easy to ensure coverage in both large and specifically targeted areas.

The Evie Blender comes with a few more useful bonuses. For instance, it doesn’t need to be thrown away or replaced every couple of months because it doesn’t stain and doesn’t absorb products enough to waste a substantial amount. Most importantly, it has sparkly decorative designs which are available in the colors purple glitter, pastel rainbow glitter and silver holographic.

While all of the benefits of the Evie Blender sound like a dream come true, this dream will have to wait for those who want to get their hands on it. As of now, the Evie Blender is still in production. The expected release date is tentatively set in March, leaving many potential buyers on the edge of their seats. But don’t give up yet — it can still be preordered on its Kickstarter page for $28 plus an additional $5 for US shipping.

Advertised as “the world’s first perfect makeup blender,” the promises the Evie Blender has in store should justify why customers, specifically college students, should make room for it in their makeup bags. For one, the Evie Blender can maintain its pristine condition if cared for properly. According to the Kickstarter page, you clean the Evie Blender by sanitizing it with boiling water or to wipe it with rubbing alcohol. In addition to this, it doesn’t keep around excess product, which means less breakouts. The Evie Blender is also arguably good for the environment, since it is less disposable than other makeup sponges.

The Evie Blender is should have any college student who eats, sleeps and breathes makeup sold on the product. A flawless, photo-ready finish? Check. Keeps your skin clear and glowing? Make that two checks. Sticks around for a long time without losing its magic? You bet.

The Evie Blender is one must-have that not worth missing out on. Efficiency, convenience, and affordability all rolled into a shimmery silicone sponge—what more could a makeup addict ask for?
